SAP Latin America and the Caribbean named Luis Cesar Verdi as new Chief Customer Officer (CCO). In his new role, the executive will offer advising to major clients and leading the relationships with global Partners in the region, including OEM activities (Original Equipment Manufacturer, allowing the channel to customize their own solutions with pre integrated SAP tools) and PMC (Partner Managed Cloud, enabling partners SAP management solutions for cloud customers).
Luis Cesar Verdi has over 30 years experience in the IT industry. During this period, he held various leadership positions, both in Brasil and other countries of the region, in areas such as Software Development, Consulting, Marketing and Sales. His performance has been seen in local and also multinationals businesses.
Since 2003, Verdi is part of the SAP team, when he joined as Sales Director for SAP Brasil. In the past 13 years, he held various positions at the regional and global levels. Under his command, Brasil established a new leadership in excellence and has become one of the biggest markets for the company in the world. In 2013, he was named senior vice president of Sales and Innovation for the strategic customer program of SAP Latin America and the Caribbean. Since 2014, the overall structure, led the OEM and PMC organization, where he ran a major transformation in the business model and achieved excellent results.
