Enabling entrepreneurs to create a better world is an online course, offered for free, taught by renowned entrepreneurs, professionals and experts to share experiences they have had in several regions of the world. The course starts with an overview of what the social enterprises now have as focus and on current migration issues in Germany and Europe, China and Mexico. The case studies will address migration at local, regional and national levels, and analyze how social action and leadership can foster positive and alleviate some of the inherent challenges faced by mass migration. In the second week, the course covers the skills development, design thinking and the lean start-up method.

In the following weeks, the course will focus on modeling ideas, business preparation and testing, narratives and motivation, and sustainable scaling.

In this course, Empowering entrepreneurs to create a better world, you will meet some of the most famous entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs in the world, including:

  • Muhammad Yunus: Founder of Grameen Bank and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2006
  • Li Ding: Vice President of Non-Profit Incubator NPI - one of the main organizations supporting NGOs and social enterprises in China. She also established strategic partnerships between NPI and several famous international organizations (UnLtd, CIVA, AVPN and GSEN).
  • Zoran Puljic: Founder of the Mozaik Foundation, which helps citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to organize and develop their communities by providing them with financial assistance and advice.
  • Hedda Pahlson-Moller: Business guardian, focused on impact investing in seed capital stage by Omnisource International. Hedda directs the Tiime, a catalyst for social impact.
  • Bill Liao: Pioneer of social networking, co-founder of CoderDojo and investor in The Hunger Project.
  • Alexander Osterwalder: Inventor of the Business Model Canvas and nominated for the Thinkers50 Innovation Award

The course will be developed in a six-week period, and new content will be presented each week. As a student, you are welcome to join our discussion forum where you can discuss the content and ideas with your colleagues and ask the opinion of experts. There is also an option to join a coaching online that you will be allocated to a global group with colleagues and perform group exercises

The course is offered for free and to register, you just need to register a valid e-mail. If you want to receive a participation certificate, just do the weekly tasks on time. Although the course extends over a period of six weeks, you only need 2-4 hours a week to monitor the content and participate in discussion forums.
